A story (part 7)

Dragonheart had a wonderful life. He got all the food he could wish. He lived around pillows and great things to climb on in the palace of the pharaoh. Sometimes he paid the priests a visit. They were building a temple for him! His own house to live in. Dragonheart was a very wise cat to accept all the worship.
In the beginning we kept hiding in the fields catching mousies and other very yummy food. Then one day, Dragonheart came along to visit us. He had great news for us.
“You know, the people appreciate you eating all the mice and other little creatures. They say they have a much better harvest now. I thought it would be time to let them see you. “
That indeed was great news. Dragonheart told us, that he was free to go where he wanted to, because as a god he was as much worth as the pharaoh himself.
Dragonheart had learned the language of the humans quickly. He told us that they used sounds to communicate and that they had to speak that loud, because they were nearly deaf. It was impossible for them to walk without making a sound. They were really loud people.
When Dragonheart had told us all this, we decided to make a procession through the town. Dragonheart was leading us to the temple.
